Ace Lifeguarding ("we," "us," "our") provides private lifeguard staffing services across Greater Los Angeles. This policy explains what information we collect through acelifeguarding.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.

 

Information We Collect

When you book a lifeguard, we collect your name, email address, phone number, event date and time, and the address of the event location. We also collect the event type, the number of lifeguards requested, the event duration, and any additional details you provide.

When you contact us through a form on our website, by email, or by text, we collect your name, contact details, and whatever you choose to tell us about your event.

When you subscribe to updates or marketing emails, we collect your name and email address.

When you create an account on our website, we collect your name, email address, and any profile information you choose to add.

Automatically, when you visit the site, we collect standard technical information including your IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, and the pages you view. This is described further under Cookies and Tracking below.

 

Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to operate the site, remember your preferences, and understand how visitors use our pages.

Wix. Our website is built on Wix, which sets cookies necessary for the site to function and collects analytics about site usage. Wix's privacy policy: wix.com/about/privacy

Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics. We use these to measure site traffic and understand which pages visitors use. This may include your approximate location, device type, browser, and the pages you view. Google's privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy

Do Not Track. Some browsers can send a "Do Not Track" signal. There is currently no industry standard for how to respond to these signals, and our site does not respond to them differently at this time.

 

Payment Information

Payments for bookings are processed by Wix Payments. Your payment card information is collected and processed directly by Wix and their payment processors. We do not receive or store your full card number. We receive confirmation of payment and the transaction details necessary to fulfill your booking.

 

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Schedule and staff your event

• Communicate with you about your booking, including confirmations and day-of coordination

• Process payments

• Assign and dispatch a lifeguard to your event

• Respond to questions and requests

• Send marketing emails, if you have opted in

• Understand how our website is used and improve it

We do not sell your personal information.

 

How We Share Your Information

We share information only where necessary to provide our services:

• With the lifeguard assigned to your event — your name, event address, date, time, and relevant event details, so they arrive prepared.

• With service providers who help us operate: Wix (website, bookings, payments, email), Google (analytics), and Meta (advertising).

• When required by law, or to protect the safety of a person involved in an event.

We do not sell or rent your information to third parties.

 

Email and Text Communications

We may send you emails or text messages about your booking — confirmations, reminders, and day-of coordination. These are necessary to provide the service you requested.

If you have opted in to marketing emails, you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email, or by contacting us. To stop text messages, reply STOP or let us know directly.

 

Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the information we collect. Access to client bookings and contact records is limited to Ace Lifeguarding administrators. Payment processing is handled by Wix Payments, and we do not store card numbers.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

 

Data Retention

Booking information is retained as long as needed to provide services and meet recordkeeping and tax obligations. Contact form submissions are retained as long as needed to respond and follow up. Marketing contacts are retained until you unsubscribe.

 

Your Choices and Rights

Access and correction. You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, by emailing acelifeguarding@gmail.com.

Account deletion. If you created an account on our website, you may request deletion at any time by contacting us.

Marketing. You can opt out of marketing emails and texts at any time, as described above.

California residents. If you are a California resident, you may have the right to request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, to request deletion, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. To make a request, contact acelifeguarding@gmail.com. We do not sell personal information.

 

Children's Privacy

Our services are booked by adults, and our website is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Booking forms may include the number of swimmers expected at an event, but we do not collect names or personal details about individual attendees, including children.

If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at acelifeguarding@gmail.com and we will delete it.

 

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
